The last couple of years have been very challenging for businesses around the world, and it wasn't easy coping with the "new normal". However, so many companies decided to face the adversities and thrive in spite of them. And succeeded!

 

Now it's time to honor and recognize the fantastic CX results and achievements of the successful businesses and organizations across America. The US Customer Experience Awards will spotlight the best of the best across 19 categories, with each of them focusing on a particular aspect of CX excellence.

 

Awards International is proud of joining forces with Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). We have become global partners in advancing CX, sharing the same vision: to bring CX practitioners closer and equip them with the know-how to develop further and achieve tremendous results.

 

We had the honor of interviewing Greg Melia, the CEO of CXPA, asking him to shed some more light on our newly forged partnership and the upcoming US awards.

 

1. What are your plans for CXPA in 2022? Any news or updates?

Two key themes that characterize CXPA’s plans for growth in 2022 are expanded leadership and professional resources. CXPA Has appointed 10 new Regional Leadership Councils to help guide the association to provide greater services and value around the globe, including a new U.S. Regional Leadership Council. In 2022, we will also publish first installments of the CXPA CX Book of Knowledge and Facilitating CX in Multi-Departmental Organizations monograph series. These two projects, developed in a consensus process by CX professionals for CX professionals, will deliver trusted, independent, guidance to help CX leaders serve as true catalysts within their organizations.

 

2. What are your expectations from this year's US CXA® and our newly forged partnership?

 

Awards International is a proven, trusted provider of business awards programs since 2008. CXPA has had an outstanding experience partnering with Awards International in the U.K., Europe, and Turkey, and is thrilled to be a part of the US CXA program. Having a program dedicated specifically to the United States will provide an opportunity for CX professionals to benchmark and assess the state of their CX work as compared to peer organizations within the U.S.

 

3. How will the awards benefit the US companies that enter? What is your word of advice?

 

CX professionals often face challenges gaining internal buy-in and support for their CX programs. The external review and validation provided by entering the US CXA awards program can help these individuals engage their colleagues, gather external feedback from independent judges, and earn recognition for a job well done. If your company could benefit from this type of in-depth competition and validation, I highly encourage you to enter.
