Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Chief Experience Officer
Amy Shioji serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and the Chief Experience Officer for Strategic Education. In this role, Amy oversees all aspects of corporate strategy and customer experience to propel business and customer transformation. This includes developing enterprise wide-student experience initiatives and leading various student-facing support functions. Amy’s dual role in CX and corporate strategy enables her to influence operational CX while driving transformational enterprise alignment around customer-centric processes, goals, and culture.
A two-time customer officer, Amy has extensive experience delivering customer-driven growth strategies and has led CX, customer service, strategy, and data science practices for companies such as USA TODAY and AARP. Amy also serves on the Board of Directors of the Customer Experience Professionals Association, the global membership association dedicated to advancing the CX profession. In her spare time, Amy enjoys running, coaching, and training for ultra-marathons – though she considers CX her true “endurance” sport.
